Randy Ross is a bicycle industry visionary. Before mountain bikes became a national fad, Randy as a young Eastern coast entrepreneur identified a cool West coast trend and ran with it. Randy had the insight and the passion to create the first mountain bike race team— documented by the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame—and most importantly, he built a business model around the concept.
Ross Bicycles became the first bicycle company to mass produce mountain bikes and quickly became the leader in the mountain bike industry.
Randy stated, “The Ross Indians will be the first mountain bike race team, other teams will appear. You watch. They’re racing in California now. They’re racing in Colorado …other manufacturers will follow. The sport will begin. Magazines will cover it.”
Pat Cunnane, the current President of Fuji bicycles, has worked closely with Randy Ross and stated that Randy looks at things differently than others in the industry and identifies trends and bicycle activities that are fun and appealing to the masses.
Randy Ross has realized the potential of developing a healthier lifestyle in America and how it can be partnered with fitness and training and the bicycle industry.
Randy Ross has a proven track record in the business of bicycle fitness products stemming from his experience with his family business, Ross Bicycles, and from his current Randy Ross enterprise, that manufactures and sells bicycles and steppers.
Randy Ross has built key relationships with individuals and companies in Asia in order to stream-line his bicycle and stepper manufacturing process, and he has a proven record of distributing and marketing the Ross products throughout the United States.
Randy Ross has now positioned the company to expand within the fitness industry and bring the excitement of fun innotative products to the streets of America.
